Welcome to the Gospel of JOY
There’s a difference between happiness and joy. Happiness can come and go with the weather, with good news or bad. But joy—true, soul-deep, heart-lifting JOY—is something far greater. It’s something eternal. It’s a gift from God, offered to us through Jesus Christ.
Welcome to the Gospel of JOY.
What Is the Gospel of JOY?
The word gospel means “good news.” And the greatest news ever shared is that Jesus Christ lived, died, and rose again—so we could live with peace in this life and hope in the next. That’s not just good news—it’s joyful news.
The gospel of Jesus Christ isn’t a message of guilt, shame, or hopeless striving. It’s a message of redemption, grace, and healing. It’s a message that tells us: You are not alone. You are loved. You are worth saving.
This joy doesn’t depend on perfect circumstances. It doesn’t vanish when life gets hard. In fact, it shines brightest in the middle of the storm. Because it comes not from the world, but from Christ within us.
The Source of Real Joy
Jesus said in John 15:11,
“These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.”
Let that sink in: Christ wants His joy to remain in you. Not just a fleeting burst of happiness, but a full, abiding, unshakable JOY. One that carries you through grief, through recovery, through trials, and into deeper faith.
That joy grows as we:
Surrender our burdens to Him.
Walk in grace, not guilt.
Serve others, just as He served.
Trust His plan, even when the path is steep.
Abide in His love, daily and intentionally.
Joy Through Redemption
For those who have walked through addiction, heartbreak, loss, or deep sorrow—you understand the weight of despair. But you also know that when Christ reaches into your pain and lifts you out, the joy that follows is unlike anything else.
When Jesus heals you, forgives you, and fills you with His Spirit, it becomes clear:
The greatest joy is to be fully known and fully loved—by Him.
You no longer have to carry shame.
You no longer have to hide.
You are free to live in the light, to dance in grace, to breathe deeply of joy.
Living the Gospel of JOY Daily
Joy isn’t just for mountaintop moments. It’s for Monday mornings. For family dinners. For quiet prayers and simple smiles. It’s for repentance and renewal, for scripture and stillness.
Start each day with this prayer:
“Lord, let me live in Your joy today. No matter what comes, help me remember the victory You’ve already won.”
Let your life preach the gospel of joy—to your family, your friends, your community. Let it show on your face, in your words, and in your kindness.
Because when people see the joy of Christ in you—they’ll want to know where it comes from. And you’ll be ready to say:
“Come and see. His name is Jesus.”
